The EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) comes into effect on 13th of December and adds obligations on all U.K. businesses selling non-food items intended for consumers into the EU and Northern Ireland. The new requirements mean that small businesses need to have a representative in the eu as a named point of contact on product safety and in addition to this full safety sheet on each item for each country. 

 

Unfortunately we will no longer be able to offer shipping to the EU or Northern Ireland

 
Important information regarding shipping

All sample stock and supply stock is non-returnable.

Postage will be applied at the checkout.  However, please note that if you purchase multiple items, we may need to increase the postage costs depending on the volume of hats we are shipping to you.  A separate invoice will be sent for this once costs have been decided.

  

DELIVERY

 

UK

 

Items are dispatched, within the UK, by Special Delivery, DPD or RM First Class Signed For, RM 24 which are approximately 1- 2 working day services excluding Saturday/Bank holidays.

 

International (NON-UK)

 

Items to international destinations will be sent by International Signed For or equivalent.  This takes an estimated 5 - 6 working days, however can take up to 30 working days. 

You are responsible for any duties, customs charges* and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country.

*Customs Duty is a tax imposed on certain imports of goods.  Goods purchased in your own country already have this cost applied, therefore it is payable to the relevant tax authorities when importing goods from abroad.  Costs and thresholds are determined by each individual country.

We cannot guarantee actual delivery dates and times, this includes courier upgrades. We will send you an email letting you know when your product is shipped.

 

All Destinations

 

Hats will be dispatched on Tuesdays and Fridays.

 Your hat or headpiece is insured against loss or damage in transit and must be signed for on receipt, therefore cannot be sent to PO Box or Mail Receiving Centre addresses.

You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address.

We cannot guarantee actual delivery dates and times. We will send you an email letting you know when your product is shipped. 

You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Maggie Mowbray Millinery, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Your hat is packaged securely in acid-free tissue and sturdy box.  Hat boxes can also be purchased at the time of purchasing your hat.

Force Majeure: If we are prevented or delayed from performing an obligation under this Agreement as a result of circumstances outside of our control, we will be released from that obligation and will not be liable for such failure or delay, or for any consequences of the same. 

It is the responsibility of the recipient to provide a correct address and to be available to receive the goods on delivery.

You are responsible for ensuring you have provided the correct address and someone is available to sign for the hat on receipt, we will not post to PO Box addresses.
