Due to the nature of this design, each hat will bear slight differences in beading arrangement, although overall appearance will remain, making each design unique.
We make all our hats to order and to measure, fitting all shapes and head sizes.
HOW TO MEASURE
Take a tape measure around the widest part of your head; from the forehead around the widest part of your head and back to meet the forehead. Don't pull too tight on the tape or your hat will be too tight. It is useful to insert your pinky under the tape to allow for a little room when measuring.

WEARING TO ASCOT?
Hats should be worn; however a headpiece which has a solid base of 4 inches (10cm) or more in diameter covering a sufficient area of the head is acceptable as an alternative to a hat.
Fascinators are not permitted
All other Enclosures (Windsor optional)
A hat, headpiece or fascinator should be worn at all times.
PRODUCTION : Lead times
With the exception of Ready To Wear, our hats and headpieces are hand-made to order.
Please allow up to 21 working days for your design to be created and posted. This applies to 'made to order' designs.
'Ready to Wear' will be dispatched within 3 working days.
If your requirements are more urgent please contact us, it may be possible to accommodate a 'rush order'. However we cannot guarantee delivery times. If your design is needed sooner, please get in touch in the first instance.
There is a non refundable* fee for rush orders this is to cover extra hours and expenses. For a 7 day turnaround + 25% fee For a 14 day turnaround + 15% fee
*This fee is non refundable as it covers overtime & costs associated with acquiring stock etc.
Please also notify us as soon as possible if you have a specific date you require your design by.
Bespoke designs may take longer than 21 days depending on design requirements.
All items are dispatched, within the UK, by Special Delivery, Next Day Courier or RM First Class Signed For which are next day services excluding Saturday/Bank holidays.
International destinations will be sent by International Signed For or equivalent. This takes an estimated 5 - 6 working days, however can take up to 30 working days.
You are responsible for any duties, customs charges and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country.
Your hat or headpiece is insured against loss or damage in transit and must be signed for on receipt, therefore cannot be sent to PO Box or Mail Receiving Centre addresses.
You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address.
We cannot guarantee actual delivery dates and times. We will send you an email letting you know when your product is shipped.
You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Maggie Mowbray Millinery, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Your hat is packaged securely in acid free tissue and a sturdy garment box, hat box or luxury bag and sturdy box.
Postage is Free worldwide on orders over £120, for orders under £120 a worldwide flat rate of £10 or UK £7 will be charged.
Large brimmed | Large hats will incur additional postage for non-UK delivery; this varies between £30 - £70.
We take great care and pay attention to detail in the quality of our products and our policy is to ensure that all products supplied reach you in top condition.
As the majority of our designs are handmade to order, we are always happy to advise customers regarding style suitability, colour matching and measuring prior to placing an order.
All returns must be in an unworn, unmarked, as new condition and complete with their original tags in place as received.
Item's which have been worn, marked or damaged. Items with tags removed, not in their original position. Made to measure items. Items which have been made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
